About Morocco national men's football team
The Morocco national men's football team is the men's representative team representing Morocco in international football competitions. Managed by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), it is nicknamed the "Atlas Lions." Having participated in the World Cup six times, it is the first African team to directly qualify for the World Cup finals (1970) and became the first African team to top a World Cup group in 1986. In the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the team won the championship in 1976 and finished as runner-up in 2004.
