Besiktas JK will attempt to sign Manchester United's second-choice goalkeeper Altay Bayindir in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Besiktas management brought in several players during the winter transfer window and addressed the goalkeeping position by loaning Devis Vasquez. However, the position will once again become vacant at the end of the season.

Reports suggest that the club is expected to part ways with goalkeeper Ersin Destanoğlu. Besiktas had already tried to sign Altay Bayindir from Manchester United during the winter break but were unsuccessful. Nevertheless, the management is resolute about the summer transfer period and hopes to bring the Turkish goalkeeper to the Black Eagles.

It is understood that Manchester United are open to selling the 27-year-old shot-stopper, whose contract runs until 2027. The Red Devils are believed to be demanding approximately €5-6 million for Bayindir. Besiktas will act quickly once the transfer window opens to try to secure the experienced goalkeeper.

This season, Altay Bayindir has made 6 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions, and his first-choice position has now been taken over by Senne Lammens.
