The draw ceremony for the group stage of the 2026–27 UEFA Nations League will be held in Brussels. UEFA’s official website has published the draw rules and procedures.
Based on the access list and the results of the 2024–25 League C/D play-offs (March 2026), 54 UEFA member nations participating in the 2026–27 UEFA Nations League will be divided into four leagues.
League A, B, C: Each league is split into four groups of four teams. Each team plays six matches in the group (home and away).
League D: Split into two groups of three teams. Each team plays four matches in the group (home and away).

Draw Procedure
League D: Draw from Pot 1 first, assigning four teams to Groups D1 and D2, then draw Pot 2 until each group has three teams.
League C: Draw from Pot 1 first, assigning four teams to Groups C1–C4, then draw subsequent pots until each group has four teams.
League B: Same procedure as League C.
League A: Same procedure as League C and B.
Restrictions
Prohibited pairing: Bosnia and Herzegovina (League B Pot 2) and Kosovo (League B Pot 4) cannot be in the same group.
Long-distance travel: Groups must avoid pairings between countries with flight times over 8 hours.
Winter venues: Countries including Iceland, Finland, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway may be restricted due to severe winter weather.
