Copa Sudamericana ; Portuguese: Copa Sul Americana is an annual international football club tournament organized by the South American Football Confederation. The South American Cup, also known as the South American Club Cup or the South American Club Cup, is an annual international football club tournament organized by the South American Football Confederation. It is the second largest club cup tournament in South America, similar to the European leagues in Europe. Unlike it, as long as it meets the rules of the competition system, the same club can participate in both the Copa Libertadores and the Copa America. The competition is scheduled to take place between August and December in the second half of the year, completely staggered from the schedule of the Libertadores Cup.
